Ocean Alley Poster

This poster was created as part of a university project for the subject Pre Press and Print, where the brief was to design a poster for our favourite band. I chose Ocean Alley and developed a concept inspired by the fluid, rhythmic qualities of their music. The artwork features hand-drawn vector lines that ripple concentrically to evoke the movement of water and sound waves, visually referencing the atmosphere of their song Muddy Water. The deep blue ink enhances the aquatic theme, while the organic linework contrasts against the structured typography below, creating a balance between motion and clarity. Printed on textured stock with subtle horizontal ridges, the material itself reinforces the flowing, tactile quality of the design, allowing the physical surface to become part of the visual narrative.
