Editorial Shoot

This editorial shoot was developed as a university project exploring the intersection of fashion, performance, and constructed femininity through bold visual storytelling. The concept combines theatrical styling with playful yet subversive symbolism, using layered tulle, vintage-inspired accessories, and saturated pink tones to create a deliberately hyper-styled environment. Lighting was carefully controlled to heighten mood and dimension, shifting between high-contrast colour washes and softer, diffused setups to emphasise texture, emotion, and form. Photography focused on dynamic posing and close compositional framing to build narrative tension and intimacy, while maintaining a strong editorial aesthetic. Post-production refined colour balance, tonal consistency, and visual cohesion across the series, enhancing the dreamlike palette and ensuring a polished final outcome. The project demonstrates my ability to integrate concept development, styling, lighting direction, photography, and retouching into a cohesive editorial narrative.
